A chain is only as strong as its weakest link: on a top bike, only top quality parts belong. Not only the large pieces such as the frame, the drive, or the wheels. You also demand superior quality from any other part, no matter how small. From spoke to bridge to cable guides.
How do you guarantee this as a bicycle builder? By simply designing those parts themselves, they thought at Santos. And they added the deed to the word. Some parts under the microscope: less known but certainly no less popular. This is also typical Santos.
BRAKEBOOSTER SANTOS
Especially for the powerful hydraulic HS 33 rim brakes from Magura Santos developed the Montage Booster. A smart mounting plate and brake booster in one. More compact than two separate parts, super convenient to assemble and fast.
And at least as important: completely stainless. The aluminium plate is finished with a hard oxide layer that completely closes the pores. This way, no water or dirt can enter. No chance of corrosion, your Montage booster could last a lifetime.
SANTOS PINION BRIDGE
Your Pinion gearbox should be able to carry a lot of weight. Especially when you’re stepping on the pedals in motion. The Santos Pinion bridge is a solid and durable suspension. The two solid reinforcements in the corners provide extra stiffness so that your drive continues to run silently, without cracking. You keep pedaling very smoothly.
Such a rigid bridge also reduces the risk of damage. That saves on maintenance. Also the placement is smart, neatly tilted in the frame. This means: more space for the drinking bottles and to tighten the belt. As a result, multiple combinations of gear and belt are also possible. And no hassle with the cables: they run neatly under the Pinion.

CABLE HOLDERS SANTOS
It seems very simple, but we think this is genius. All those little cubes on the frame to guide the cables neatly. Several bicycle brands prefer to hide the cables inside, but that makes it difficult with a check-up or replacement. At Santos they walk neatly along the frame through these blocks.
The holders come in different variants, so you can attach one, two, three to even eight cables to them. Whichever configuration you choose, you’ll always have the right blocks to secure your cables. And the nice thing is: if you want to have your bike converted afterwards, with a cable more or less, we just change the holders. The fact that the maintenance is smoother and therefore requires less time is useful for your wallet.
SANTOS FORK PADDS
For years, the hub dynamos of Son the very best on the market. The wireless Son SL, which is mounted on the front wheel, makes contact with a plate attached to the fork. To easily replace the front wheel, with the Son SL, Santos developed custom fork toads.
Also smart: each path has a ridge that pokes out slightly. You can mount the lowrider directly on it so that it is even more stable. The opening is facing forward, so that your wheel is always firmly clamped in your fork, no matter how hard you brake.
BELT TENSIONER SANTOS
Another smart idea. How do you put a belt on tension? This can be done by just a small wheel under the Pinion box. It works so well that Santos puts the belt tensioner on any (electric) Pinion bike by default.
The belt tensioner is attached to the front of the drive. This makes it easier to get the rear wheel out. The rubber O-rings of the Santos Belt Spanner are wear-resistant and oil- and UV-resistant. Furthermore, the wheel is double bearingd and designed for the toughest conditions, in short: Built for Life.
